ALDOT Host Leadership Academies

ALDOT has hosted numerous leadership academies over the past six years. The ALDOT leadership Academy was developed to motivate participants to begin a sustained journey on the path of leadership development. It motivated participants to seek and acquire leadership attitudes, skills, and tools that best fit each participant's outlook and job situation. The Administrative Burreau selects personnel form various Bureaus and Regions to participate in the class.

The Leadership Academy was revamped and now consists of 11 different modules that help participants learn different skill sets that center around leadership, communication and developing others. The 11 different modules were taught by the Region Engineers, Bureau Chiefs, Retired ALDOT personnel, and Troy University Continuing Education and Outreach (CE&O). The Leadership Academy consist of two sessions usually help in the Spring and Fall Seasons at Alabama State Parks
